Adobe Premiere Pro makes it easy to use .cube LUTs through Lumetri Color, but the best results come from treating the LUT as a starting point.
Basic Lumetri workflow
- Import your DJI footage.
- Open Lumetri Color.
- Correct exposure and white balance in Basic Correction.
- Apply your creative LUT in the Creative section.
- Adjust Intensity until the image feels natural.
- Fine tune contrast, saturation, highlights, and shadows.
Input LUT or Creative LUT?
Use technical conversion or color-management where appropriate for log footage. Use LumaKit Studio LUTs as creative looks, not as official DJI conversion LUTs.
Timeline consistency
When editing travel footage, apply the same LUT family across Pocket, Osmo, Mini, and Mavic clips, then match exposure and contrast between scenes.
