DJI Pocket 3 and Pocket 4 footage can look clean but sometimes too digital straight out of camera. A simple cinematic workflow can make the image feel more intentional without making it overprocessed.
1. Start with exposure and white balance
Before applying any LUT, fix the basics. If the clip is too bright, too dark, or too warm, the LUT will exaggerate those problems.
2. Use the right LUT type
Use technical conversion or color-management tools when you need to normalize log footage, then use creative LUTs for style. LumaKit Studio LUTs are creative looks, not official DJI conversion LUTs.
3. Apply a creative LUT as a starting point
Use the LumaKit Studio DJI Creator LUT Pack as a base look. The LUT gives you direction: contrast, color separation, and a more cohesive mood.
4. Adjust intensity
Do not force every clip to 100%. Reduce the strength when the scene already has strong color or contrast.
5. Keep skin and highlights natural
A cinematic look should still feel watchable. If highlights are too harsh or skin looks unnatural, lower contrast and saturation slightly.
6. Export with consistency
The biggest benefit of a LUT pack is consistency across clips. Your travel video feels more polished when every scene belongs to the same visual world.
