Osmo Action LUT Workflow for Travel Videos and Outdoor Clips

Osmo Action footage is often shot in harsh light, fast movement, water, snow, streets, or POV scenes. A creative LUT can help unify the footage, but you still need a clean base.

Fix exposure before style

Action footage can swing between bright sky and dark shadows. Correct exposure first so the LUT does not crush shadows or clip highlights.

Watch saturation

Outdoor footage already has strong blues, greens, and skin tones. Reduce LUT intensity if colors become too loud for a natural travel video.

Recommended workflow

  1. Trim your best Osmo Action clips.
  2. Correct exposure and white balance.
  3. Apply a creative .cube LUT.
  4. Lower intensity for harsh daylight or high saturation scenes.
  5. Match all clips across the timeline.
